Llamas on the trail, oh my!

I ran into this couple with baby doing a two-day section pack with llamas. In my fourteen years “covering” this section of the PCT, this is a first.

We were at your place that day and got to see the arrival of the llamas. Probably the only time that a baby on the trail got completely ignored!

They ended up staying with me that night, so I got the inside scoop on the llamas and why they were llama-packing the PCT with a four-month-old baby.
