Well, one of the book favs in my Hiker Book Register sure brought back some memories. … My Side of the Mountain, faved by @crazycooner, was one of my favorite books as a kid. On a whim, I bought it as a download and re-read it while eating lunch today. What a great book. Now I know where that desire to have a falcon as a pet came from. — Thanks, Connor.

This was the first weekend with large numbers of hikers stopping by my place. I personally met about a dozen, since I hung out there for a couple hours on Saturday and Sunday, but suspect many more stopped by. Several pages in the hiker book register were filled in.
